卡密莉1992年出生于巴西里約，幼時(shí)為了畸形得到更好的治療而選擇右大腿截肢。醫(yī)生建議她要多游泳以改善身體體質(zhì)，逐漸她從健康需要轉(zhuǎn)向?qū)τ斡镜臒釔?，并發(fā)揮出無窮的潛力。在大量練習(xí)和父母的支持下，即使家中財(cái)務(wù)資源有限，她也逐漸進(jìn)步成專業(yè)的泳者，在墨西哥殘疾人奧林匹克運(yùn)動(dòng)會(huì)勇奪四面獎(jiǎng)牌，并打破了多項(xiàng)世界紀(jì)錄。
Born in Rio de Janeiro, 13/04/1992, with a malformation at the right leg , was amputated to allow for a better treatment .Swimming was prescribed to improve her conditions and what has started for medical reasons became a revelation of a natural ability for the sports .With time and a lot of effort and support from her parents , which had limited financial resources , she progressed as a swimmer , being the record holder of several Paralympic Records being awarded 4 medals at the Paralympic Games in Mexico.

Both athletes are assisted by Orthogen / Conforpés and had been fitted withTehlin and other components on their prosthesis.
